Yes, you read it right! The RSC will unveil its ninth stage show THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF COMEDY (abridged) at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park from November 9 – December 29! From cavemen telling “Rock Rock” jokes to Chris Rock and everything in-between, the bad boys of abridgement leave no joke untold as we deconstruct the entire history of comedy in 90 rollicking minutes. Get tickets now! Question: Which is the least funny nationality? Which is the funniest? Why did the former try to exterminate the latter? And did you know that critics can describe anything in a way to make it sound unfunny? (“First of all, the premise is weak. No one would ever believe that a baseball team would actually have a first baseman named “Who.”)
Happy Merry Chrismakwanukahhanzukah!
A Bonus episode! For all who celebrate – the only thing you’ll ever have to say. From The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged).

There probably WON’T be a dvd of it, and the script won’t be available for several years. But if you make it to the show, we’d be happy to talk to you more.

I am going to desperately try to make it to Cincy to see this show, but what I really need is a copy of it! When will it be available on DVD? I am teaching a freshman comp class on comedy this semester and would love to include your work!
Thanks
Tamara

Came all the way from Sarasota, FL to see the show. (Well, I was really doing other stuff and this was a happy chance.) Fabulous show!! Can’t stop talking about it. Friends are going now. Fun meeting Austin, Reed, and Dom. Must download podcasts now.
