Published by austin on

“It’s a beautiful day for a ballgame, so we finish rehearsal by heading off to watch the Lowell Spinners struggle against the Tri-City ValleyCats. Yes, it’s one minor league squad enjoying the other. Featuring fantastically bad play by play, an excerpt from The Complete World of Sports (abridged), a special appearance by local radio sports guy Teddy Panos, a debate about the greatest sports movies ever played, and memories of watching the greatest play in the history of college sports. RUDY’s an outstanding football movie, no question. I’d forgotten about that one. (But seriously, have you *seen* BRIAN’S SONG?)
