The book is both a handsome collectible and an invaluable piece of theatre journalism, and John talks about how the project came together and reveals his immense gratitude to the Society of London Theatres, the world’s worst elevator pitch, unfamiliar London slang (‘purple patch’?), and this celebration of an amazing community.
