This week marks the birthday of Chris Stevens, the American ambassador to Libya who was killed in Benghazi in 2012. In 2013 Chris’s family established the Stevens Scholar Program at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at our alma mater the University of California, Berkeley. Chris’ college roommates Austin Tichenor and Steve McDonald discuss ways to support the Stevens Scholar Program through Words and Deeds, ATO Founders Day, and the Aspen Institute’s Stevens Initiative.
