What do RSC actors do when they’re not on tour? Jeff Marlow explains….Austin asked me to put together a quick blog post describing the life of an RSC actor while NOT on tour – which, in my case at least, is pretty straightforward: after the national tour of The Complete History of America (abridged) ended last November, I spent the rest of 2008 (mostly) watching movies…I was randomly selected as a member of the SAG Nominating Committee, nominating performances for the Screen Actors Guild Awards – and so, for the last six weeks of 2008, my mailbox was flooded on a daily basis with dozens and dozens of “screeners”, DVDs of current films:
