Andy White, artistic director of Lookingglass Theatre Company, and Cindy Gold, Professor of Theatre and Head of Acting at Northwestern University, are both successful and award-winning actors who talk about the other jobs they’ve held and continue to hold. Featuring the value of cultivating other skills, the art of writing grant proposals, the benefits and drawbacks of a BA degree v. a BFA degree, boxer compliments, the difficulties of self-identification, the importance of being a content creationist, and the greatness of using art to teach humanity.
