Tyrone Phillips is the founding artistic director of Chicago’s Definition Theatre and directing Definition’s co-production of James Ijames’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Fat Ham at the Goodman Theatre through February 23, 2025. Sorry, but I think I have you all beat – my worst job was when I was demoted from busboy to dish-washer at The Royal Chinese Palace restaurant in Houston at age 15. Was fired just after I quit. Or maybe it was the other way around!
